Unlike Maine lobster, Florida Spiny Lobster house most of their meat in their tail. The meat is firm in texture and sweet to the taste.
Lobster season runs from August to the end of March. The price is for a fresh single tail.
Lobster meat is versatile; it can be boiled, baked, broiled, fried, or grilled. The tail can be dipped in a garlic butter sauce, eaten plain, or added into any dish to make it a dining masterpiece.
Our lobster tails are harvested fresh, & shipped out to you the next day. Depending on availability of fresh lobster as the season nears the end, freshly frozen lobster tails will be shipped.
Fresh Lobsters should be cooked or frozen within 24 hours after receiving, this prevents the meat from becoming dark. Frozen lobster tails can be kept frozen for up to 6 months. Thaw under refrigeration for the best quality.

We ordered 4 lobster tails for a Christmas dinner.
The only shipping option you offered was UPS Next Day Air Saver which was $29.53. The package went from you to N. Hollywood to Davenport to Sebring which took 3 days. This was obviously not by air nor would it be even feasible to send a package from Key Largo to Sebring since there is no airport in Key Largo and no commercial service in Sebring. Lobsters arrived edible but far from fresh (I have caught and cooked hundreds of lobsters when we had a sail boat from Florida to across the Pacific) so I know what a fresh lobster tastes like.
Bottom line: not happy about being forced to pay for an over night service that doesn't exist for 3 to 4 day old lobster tails.
Please don't reply telling me you have no responsibility for any issues with the shipper since a) it is the only service you offer, b) you can't possibly not know no one could ship 4 lobsters by air to Sebring next day for $29.53 and c) I also once owned a house on Summerland Key on the private airport there so have spent a considerable amount of time in they Keys know how how things work (or don't work) there.
Purchased four (4) of your 9 - 10 oz warm water tails for this past Thanxgiving dinner in lieu of the more traditional bird. We were not disappointed in the least! Wife & I enjoyed these tails bathed in our own garlic infused butter accompanied by some of Korbels finest! Lobsters arrived frozen and on-time as promised, and were some of the best (for the $$) tails we've had in a very loong time......
I ordered 10 of the 9 to 10 oz lobster tails but four of them were only about 7 oz. The lobster tails are always fresh but I paid for 9 to 10 oz lobster tails and if they were going to put in some smaller ones they should have thrown in an extra tail for that money.
We are very sorry for the mistake.

For the last 2 years, we have done Keys lobster from Key Largo Fisheries instead of turkey. Once again, our choice did not disappoint. The lobster was DELICIOUS- and soooo much less fuss than a whole turkey. Paired with some tropical sides and a key lime pie for dessert, the whole family looks forward to this meal as we face a cold Ohio day. Thank you!
